Food & Fire
by the Sea

A small village warung, an evening fire, and hot coffee before sunrise — honest food, kind prices, eaten with the sea right there.

Honest & Cheap

No fine dining. Just good food, by the fire.

We are a village-run camp, so the kitchen is run the village way: Balinese home cooking from a simple warung, fish on the grill when the fire is lit, and kopi ready before the sun. Nothing fancy, nothing dear — bring an appetite and a few rupiah, and eat well facing the strait.

Food & Fire

Coffee, fire,
and a warung.

Three simple pleasures: a warung for local plates, an open fire for the evening BBQ, and hot coffee waiting before first light.

The Warung
Nasi campur, all day.

A simple kitchen cooking the Balinese way — nasi campur, grilled fish, chicken with fresh sambal, sayur, tempe and tofu, all with a mound of rice. Cold drinks in the cooler. Most plates land between Rp 25k and Rp 45k, so a full meal stays kind on the pocket.

The Fire
BBQ under the stars.

When the sun is down the fire comes up. Fresh catch on the grill, satay, grilled corn, sambal matah, and marshmallows for the kids. It is the gathering point of the camp — everyone pulls up a stump, the lights of the strait below. The shared BBQ is around Rp 75k a head; bring your own to grill and it costs nothing but a seat by the flame.

Sunrise Coffee
Hot, from 5am.

The earliest thing open. Local kopi tubruk and tea are ready from 05:00, before first light, so you can carry a cup to the cliff edge and watch the day arrive over the sea toward Nusa Penida. A cup is Rp 10k — the best-value seat in East Bali is anywhere facing east.
